Frozen Strawberry Squares
Frozen Strawberry Squares is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. flour, 1/2 c. chopped pecans, 1/4 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. butter, melted and 2 egg whites, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Mix first 4 ingredients in shallow baking pan.
Bake for 20 minutes, stirring and breaking up as you stir.
Sprinkle 2/3 crumb mixture in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Save the rest for topping.
Combine egg whites, sugar and strawberries in a bowl; add lemon juice.
Beat on high for 10 minutes or until you have stiff peaks.
Fold in whipped cream.
Spoon over crumb mixture.
Freeze for 6 hours.
Cut into squares and serve. Excellent!!
