Frozen Fruit Salad
Frozen Fruit Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (32 oz.) pkg. jell-o (mixed fruit, strawberry or lemon), dash of salt, 1 c. boiling water, 1 (8 3/4 oz.) can pineapple tidbits and 1/4 c. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Dissolve Jell-O and salt in boiling water.
Drain pineapple, measuring syrup (add water to make 1/2 cup).
Stir in gelatin with lemon juice.
Blend in mayonnaise and chill until thick.
Whip cream and fold fruits, nuts and whipped cream into gelatin.
Pour into 2 freezing trays.
Freeze until firm, at least 3 to 4 hours. To serve, slice.
Makes 8 servings.
