Frozen Cole Slaw
Frozen Cole Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 medium head cabbage, 1 small onion, chopped, 1 tsp. mustard seed, 1 c. vinegar and 1 1/2 to 2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Grate cabbage.
Add salt and let stand for 1 hour.
Squeeze juice out.
Add carrot, pepper and onion.
Make a syrup of vinegar, water and sugar.
Add mustard and celery seed.
Boil 1 minute. Pour over cabbage and mix well.
Put in containers and freeze.
This slaw can be refrozen several times.
Do not use blender.
