Toast pecans in a moderate oven about 350Β° for 8 minutes.
Mix all other ingredients in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Boil until you reach soft-ball stage.
Remove from heat.
Stir to coat the nuts.
Turn out onto waxed paper and separate nuts.
Put in airtight containers.
