Frosted Lemon Pie
Frosted Lemon Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. vanilla wafer crumbs, 3 eggs, separated, 1 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. water and grated peel of 1 lemon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Line an 8-inch pie pan with wafer crumbs.
Beat egg yolks until thick.
Add 1/2 cup sugar, water, lemon peel and juice. Cook in a double boiler until very thick, about 12 to 15 minutes. Cool.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Add remaining sugar gradually; fold into lemon mixture.
Fold in whipped cream.
Pour into pie pan lined with crumbs.
Place, unwrapped, in freezer and let harden, at least 5 hours.
