Frosted Fudge Squares
Frosted Fudge Squares is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 1/2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate, 3/4 c. butter or margarine, 4 eggs, 2 c. sugar and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Melt chocolate and butter in top of a double boiler over simmering water; set aside to cool.
Beat egg whites lightly with a wooden spoon; gradually add sugar, salt and vanilla, stirring well, and stir in cooled chocolate mixture.
Sift flour over pecans.
Mix well and stir into batter.
Spread batter in a greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.
Bake at 325Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
Frost with Favorite Brownie Frosting.
Cut into 1 1/2-inch squares while warm.
Yields about 3 dozen.
