Fried Rice
Fried Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. cooked chicken, pork or ham, finely chopped, 2 tbsp. onion, chopped, 4 oz. can mushrooms, drained, 2 tbsp. oil and 3 c. rice, cooked and cooled, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

In a medium skillet, cook the chicken, onion and mushrooms in the oil until tender, add rice and soy sauce.
Cook over a low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occassionally with a fork.
Add egg, parsley and pepper.
Cook for a further 5 minutes stirring constantly.
