Fried Pies
Fried Pies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. self-rising flour, 1 c. milk, dried apples or peaches (any fruit), sugar and cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cook fruit to your taste.
Let cool.
While cooking, mix flour and milk.
Sprinkle flour on table.
Roll out by the tablespoon as thin as you can in a circle.
Spoon in about a tablespoon of fruit. Fold over, then using a fork, press ends together using 9-inch iron skillet.
Heat oil.
When hot, put in pies, three at a time.
Cook until golden brown, then flip.
Do the same on other side.
