Fried Green Ramps
Fried Green Ramps is an easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. cooking oil, salt and pepper to taste and 6 c. young green ramps, cut in 1-inch pieces, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

In a large cast-iron frying pan, heat cooking oil; add ramps. Cover and cook on lowest heat.
Stir once or twice; fry 35 minutes or until tender.
Best served with fried fatback, or bacon strips, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes and corn bread.
