Fresh Apple Cake
Fresh Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar (granulated), 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. baking soda and 1 tsp. ground cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix sugar, flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon; add eggs and oil.
Beat with a wooden spoon.
Add nuts and apples; batter will be thick and hard to mix after apples are added.
Spread batter in greased and floured 10-inch skillet or other cake pan.
Bake in preheated 350° oven for 30 minutes or until cake tests done.
A single batch baked in large pan can be cut into bars.
Double the recipe and bake in 9 x 11-inch pan or 10-inch Bundt pan.
Bake double batch at 350° for one hour.
Double batch serves 8 to 10.
