French Vanilla Ice Cream
French Vanilla Ice Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. flour, 1/4 tsp. salt, 2 c. milk and 6 eggs, slightly beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Mix sugar, flour and salt; stir in milk.
Cook over boiling water, stirring constantly until slightly thickened.
Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
Stir a little hot milk into eggs, then stir into remaining hot milk.
Cook over hot (not boiling) water, stirring constantly for 5 minutes or until mixture coats the spoon.
Remove from hot water. Chill.
Add vanilla and cream. Freeze.
I put chopped fruit in just before I put it in the ice cream freezer.
