French Silk Chocolate Pie is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 sticks butter, 1 1/8 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 3 eggs and 1 1/2 c. chocolate sq. or substitute 4 1/2 tbsp. cocoa, mixed with 1 1/2 tbsp. melted butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream butter; add sugar, chocolate and vanilla.
Mix thoroughly.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating each one for 5 minutes (no cheating here).
Put in a cooled pie shell; top with whipping cream and nutmeats if you wish.
