Fred's Famous Deer Camp Cornbread
Fred'S Famous Deer Camp Cornbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. yellow corn meal, 1 c. milk, 2 eggs, 1 (16 oz.) can cream-style corn and 1 lb. diced deer meat or hamburger, sausage, etc., browned and drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

👨🍳 Instructions
Mix meal, milk, eggs, corn, soda, salt and oil.
Pour 1/2 of mixture in 9 x 13-inch casserole dish (or greased iron skillet). Sprinkle with cheese; put meat over cheese and sprinkle onion and peppers.
Pour remaining batter over top.
Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
