Foolproof Dark Chocolate Fudge

(18 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk, dash of salt, 1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts and 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a 1-quart microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and salt.
Cook on High for 3 minutes, or until chips melt, stirring after each 1 1/2 minutes.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Spread evenly into wax paper lined 8 or 9-inch square pan.
Chill 2 hours or until firm.
Turn fudge onto cutting board.
Peel off paper and cut into squares.
Store, loosely covered, at room temperature.
Yields about 2 pounds.
