Florentine Salad
Florentine Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello, 1 1/2 tbsp. vinegar, 1/2 c. mayonnaise, 1/4 c. celery, chopped fine and 1 c. frozen, chopped spinach, cooked and well drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Dissolve gelatin in 3/4 cup of boiling water.
Stir in vinegar, mayonnaise and salt.
Cool until almost firm.
Beat, then add spinach, onion, celery and cottage cheese.
Chill until firm. Red wine vinegar and Marzetti slaw dressing can be used instead of mayonnaise and regular vinegar.
