Grease 9 x 13-inch pan with margarine.

In large heavy pot, add sugar and evaporated milk; mix with wooden spoon.

Do not heat until sugar and milk have been thoroughly mixed.

Turn stove to medium-high, stirring constantly while heating until it comes to a boil.

Turn heat down, but keep boiling.

Time for 7 minutes; stir frequently.

After 7 minutes, remove pot from heat.

To hot mixture, add remaining ingredients except nuts.

Mix until it looks like fudge, about 5 minutes.

Add dash of salt and nuts. Pour in pan and when lukewarm, refrigerate.
