Fiesta Biscuits
Fiesta Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. self-rising flour, 3/4 c. shredded mexican cheese, 1/4 c. chopped, canned green chilies, 1 c. whipping cream and 1/4 c. melted butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine flour, cheese, chilies, and whipping cream in bowl of food processor.
Process until mixture forms a dough.
Remove onto a lightly floured surface and knead 5 or 6 times.
Roll to a thickness of about 1/2 inch.
Cut with a 2 inch biscuit cutter.
Combine the melted butter and taco seasoning.
Dip each biscuit into butter mixture and place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 10 to 12 small biscuits.
