Fido's Favorite Treats
Fido'S Favorite Treats is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. rolled oats, 1/3 c. margarine, 1 c. boiling water, 3/4 c. cornmeal and 1 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Heat oven to 325Β°.
Grease cookie sheets.
In large bowl combine oats, margarine and water; let stand 10 minutes.
Stir in cornmeal, sugar, bouillon, milk, cheese and egg; mix well.
Add 1 cup flour at a time to cornmeal mixture; mix well after each addition. This will be a stiff dough.
Knead until smooth and not sticky; (3 to 4 minutes).
Roll to 1/2-inch thick and cut with bone-shaped cookie cutter.
Place 1 inch apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes until golden brown.
Cool completely. Store loosely covered.
