Fettucine Alfredo
Fettucine Alfredo is an easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. fettucine, 1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese, 2/3 c. light cream (sour cream may be substituted), 1/4 c. butter (preferably sweet) and 1 egg yolk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cook noodles according to directions on side panel. While noodles are cooking, beat yolk lightly with fork and add cream. Melt butter in a saute pan. Add cream and egg mixture to melted butter. Simmer slowly. When noodles are done, drain and put in a large bowl. Pour cream over noodles and 1/2 of the Parmesan cheese.
Toss until noodles are well covered. Add remainder of the cheese and toss.
Serve immediately.
You can also add ham.
