Festive Chicken Bake
Festive Chicken Bake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 2 1/2 to 3 lb. fryer, cut up and 2 tbsp. oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Combine flour, salt and pepper.
Dredge chicken in flour. Brown in hot oil.
Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
Combine juice, molasses, mustard and vinegar; mix well.
Place chicken in 3-quart casserole; arrange potatoes around chicken.
Brush with half of sauce.
Cover and bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Uncover and top with pineapple.
Brush with remaining sauce.
Cook 30 minutes more.
