Fay's Tea Cakes
Fay'S Tea Cakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 heaping c. sugar, 2 eggs, 3 tbsp. buttermilk, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs.
In a separate bowl, mix together milk and vanilla to first mixture.
Add milk and vanilla mixture alternately with dry ingredients.
Drop by tablespoons onto slightly greased cookie sheet.
Flatten slightly and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 350Β° for 8 to 13 minutes, depending on how large the cakes are. (Makes 5 dozen.)
