Favorite Chocolate Pound Cake
Favorite Chocolate Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1 c. margarine, softened, 2 1/2 c. sugar, 5 eggs and 3 c. cake flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream shortening, margarine and sugar in mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Sift flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt together. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition.
Mix in vanilla and walnuts.
Spoon into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 1/2 hours.
Remove to wire rack to cool.
