Fall Harvest Apple Pie
Fall Harvest Apple Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 1/4 c. flour, dash of salt, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Heat oven to 425Β°.
Prepare pastry.
Mix remaining ingredients, except apples and margarine.
Stir in apples.
Turn into pastry lined pie plate.
Dot with margarine.
Place top crust, that has slits cut in it, over the filling, unfold and trim overhanging edge of pastry 1-inch from rim of plate.
Fold and roll top edge under lower edge.
Cover with 3-inch strip of aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning.
Remove foil during the last 15 minutes of baking.
Bake 40 to 50 minutes, until crust is brown and juice begins to bubble through slits in crust.
