Estelle's Chocolate Pie
Estelle'S Chocolate Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 1/2 c. flour, 2 to 3 eggs (separate egg whites in separate bowl), 1 1/2 tbsp. cocoa and 1 small can evaporated milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix first 4 ingredients (except egg whites).
Add small can evaporated milk; mix until creamy.
Add can of water, more if needed.
Stir slowly over low heat until thickens.
Pour into cooked/cooled pie shell.
Beat egg whites, 2 tablespoons sugar and pinch of cream of tartar.
Spread meringue over pie and bake until brown.
