Escalloped Oysters
Escalloped Oysters is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 qt. oysters, 1 1/4 c. cracker crumbs, 1/2 c. butter, 2 tbsp. flour and 2 tbsp. chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Heat oysters in their own juice until edges curl and brown. Melt butter in saucepan and add flour; brown.
Pour over oysters and add all seasonings and 1 cup cracker crumbs.
Pour into casserole; sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
Dot with butter and bake until brown at 450Β°, approximately 20 minutes.
