English Trifle(Also Known As Punch Bowl Cake) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large strawberry jell-o, 1 c. vanilla ice cream, 2 (10 oz.) boxes frozen strawberries, 4 small bananas (or more) and 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Mix Jell-O well in 1 1/2 cups hot water.
Add ice cream and strawberries.
Mix until thick, then add pecans.
Mix vanilla pudding as directed on package.
Layer as follows: half Jell-O mixture, 2 bananas, half cake (crumbled), half pudding and half Cool Whip.
Then repeat layers the same.
