"English" Custard is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. milk, 6 tsp. cornstarch, 2 tsp. vanilla and 2 egg yolks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Begin to heat the milk in a nonstick saucepan.
Mix cornstarch with a small amount of milk, to form a thick paste.
With a wooden spoon, mix the warm milk and cornstarch.
Keep stirring until mixture thickens.
Add beaten eggs and vanilla.
Serve over apple pie or as desired.
Add to dessert pies for a delicious "hot" sauce.
Also good chilled.
