Emily's Fudge
Emily'S Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 c. white sugar, 3 tbsp. white karo syrup, 6 sq. bitter chocolate, 1 large can and 1 small can evaporated milk and 3 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Mix in saucepan sugar, syrup, chocolate and evaporated milk. Cook to soft ball stage.
Take off heat; add butter and vanilla without stirring.
Let stand until you can hold the bottom of the pan comfortably.
(Leave wooden spoon in the pan.)
Beat with electric beaters.
When it stops looking waxy, take the beaters out and beat by hand.
