Elizabeth's Sugar Cookies

In large bowl, measure all ingredients except sprinkles.
Mix at medium speed and beat ingredients until well mixed.
Scrape bowl occasionally.
Shape dough into a ball; wrap.
Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours.
Preheat oven to 400Β°.
Lightly grease cookie sheets. Roll 1/2 to 1/3 of dough at a time; keep rest refrigerated.
Roll 1/8 to 1/4-inch thick and cut into shapes.
Re-roll trimmings and cut.
Place cookies 1/2-inch apart; "sprinkle" and cook 8 minutes. Makes 6 dozen.
