Eggplant Tava
Eggplant Tava is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground lean beef, 28 oz. can italian tomatoes (juice reserved), 1/4 c. tomato paste, divided, 1 medium onion, chopped and 1/2 tsp. ground allspice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Preheat oven to 450Β°.
Mix ground meat with 1/2 cup of the juice from the tomatoes and 2 teaspoons of the tomato paste.
Add onion, green pepper, allspice, pepper, salt and garlic.
Mix well and set aside.
