Egg Custard is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 eggs, 1 c. sugar, pinch of salt, 2 tbsp. soft butter and 2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
👨🍳 Instructions
Mix sugar, salt and softened butter well, until sugar is dissolved.
Add eggs. Beat well.
Add milk.
Pour into unbaked pie shell and sprinkle nutmeg over top.
Bake for 7 minutes at 425°. Lower heat to 325° and bake 20 to 25 minutes until it simmers.
