Easy Pie Crust
Easy Pie Crust is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. unbleached enriched white flour, 1 c. sifted whole wheat flour, 1 tsp.salt, 1/2 c. oil and 1/2 c. ice water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Re-sift the flours and salt together.
Beat with a fork the oil and ice water until emulsified.
Pour over flour all at once, tossing lightly to mix.
Form quickly into a ball, handling as little as possible.
Divide in half and roll out each half between sheets of waxed paper or heavy plastic.
Remove top paper and fit loosely into pie pan.
For single baked crust, prick bottom and bake at 450Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 2 crusts.
