Earthquake Cake
Earthquake Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped, 1 1/2 c. coconut, shredded, 1 box german chocolate cake mix, 1/2 c. margarine and 8 oz. cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine pecans and coconut.
Sprinkle over bottom of pan.
Prepare cake mix per directions on box, then pour into pan.
Melt margarine and cream cheese together in saucepan.
Add powdered sugar; mix well.
Pour mixture over cake batter.
Bake 45 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool, then cut into squares.
Makes 16 squares.
