Cream butter and cream cheese in medium bowl.
Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
Stir in flour, apricots and nuts.
Mix well.
Shape dough into roll, 1-inch in diameter. Wrap in waxed paper and chill 3 hours or until firm.
Remove wax paper and cut into 1/4-inch slices.
Place one inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
