Dutch Apple Cake
Dutch Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 egg, lightly beaten (yolk can be removed), 3/4 c. milk (can be skim) and 5 to 8 medium apples, peeled, cored and cut into 12ths, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Sift flour, baking powder and salt in bowl.
Work butter into flour with pastry blender.
Stir egg and milk together and then into flour.
Turn into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Press the thin edge of apple pieces, in rows, into the dough.
Combine remaining ingredients and sprinkle over apples.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 40 minutes.
Serve hot or with a lemon sauce cool.
