Drunken Pork Roast
Drunken Pork Roast is an easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. rolled pork roast (approximately), 1 orange, sliced thin, 1/2 c. brown sugar and a 7 and 7 drink (1 part bourbon, 2 parts 7-up), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Place roast in preheated oven at 350Β°.
Pour about half the 7 and 7 drink over all.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Roast 45 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Pat brown sugar over the entire roast.
Place orange slices over roast and secure with toothpick. Pour remainder of 7 and 7 over roast.
Return to oven and continue to bake until desired doneness, basting every 15 to 20 minutes. Makes absolutely wonderful gravy.
