Double Peanut Butter Cookies
Double Peanut Butter Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. unsifted flour, 3/4 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Preheat oven to 375Β°.
Sift together flour, baking soda, powder and salt.
Cream together butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add shortening, peanut butter and egg, beating until well blended. Gradually add sifted ingredients and mix well.
Add peanut butter chips, stirring to blend.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten balls with fork dipped in sugar.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Let cool on cookie sheets.
Remove from cookie sheets and cool on wire racks.
Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
