Made with 7 c. corn flakes, crushed to 1 3/4 c., 1 c. all-purpose flour, 3 lb. frying chicken, rinsed and dried, 3 tbsp. margarine or butter, melted and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Crush and measure corn flakes into shallow pan or dish; set aside.
In small bowl, beat egg and milk slightly.
Add flour, salt and pepper; mix until smooth.
Dip chicken in batter, then roll in corn flakes.
Place single layer in greased or foil lined baking pan.
Drizzle with melted margarine or butter.
Bake at 350Β° for about 1 hour.
Do not cover or turn chicken over.
