Preheat
Combine flour, soda, salt and cocoa powder.
Add sugars and butter; beat well. Add eggs and vanilla; beat medium speed until light and fluffy.
Add chocolate chips; blend at low speed just until combined.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets 1 1/2 inches apart.
Bake for 21 to 23 minutes. Yields 4 dozen.
