Double Boiler Pudding
Double Boiler Pudding is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. brown sugar, packed lightly, 3 slices bread, 1/2 c. raisins, 2 eggs, beaten lightly and 2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Toast bread and butter slices.
Cut in cubes.
Put sugar in top of double boiler; add bread, then add raisins.
Add milk to beaten eggs.
Pour over bread and raisins; do not stir.
Cover and put over bottom of double boiler which is half full of cold water. Set over heat and cook 1 hour with water boiling gently.
Turn out into serving dish and serve warm.
The brown sugar makes a sauce.
