Divinity(Microwave) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. sugar, 1 c. light corn syrup, 3/4 c. water, 1/4 tsp. salt and 3 egg whites, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Mix together sugar, syrup, water and salt in a 1 1/2-quart dish.
Cook at Full power for 20 to 22 minutes or until hard ball stage is reached.
Stir 1 to 2 times.
While syrup cooks, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Gradually pour hot syrup over egg whites while beating at high speed until mixture is thick and candy starts to lose its gloss, about 12 minutes.
Add vanilla and nuts and drop on waxed paper by the teaspoon.
Makes about 70 pieces.
