Divinity Fudge
Divinity Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c white syrup, 2 1/2 c sugar, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/2 c water and 1 tsp vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Combine syrup, sugar, salt and water.
Cook stirring constantly till sugar is dissolved.
Continue cooking till ball forms when dropped into cool water.
Beat egg whites till stiff-pour 1/2 of syrup into egg whites and beat.
Cook remaining syrup to thread forms in cool water.
Add to first mix and beat till hold shape.
Add nuts and vanilla. Drop by spoonsful onto wax paper.
Let cool and dry-turn candies over and dry on other side. Store in air tight container in dry place.
