Disappearing Chocolate Cake
Disappearing Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 cup butter, 1/2 cup shortening, 2 cups sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Grease and flour 2 nine inch round pans.
Cream shortening, butter, sugar and vanilla until fluffy.
Do not rush this step as the cake is not nearly as good.
Blend in eggs.
In a separate bowl, combine cocoa, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add alternately with milk to batter.
Blend well on medium speed. Pour into pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 35 minutes or until tests done.
Cool 10 minutes, remove from pans.
