Dilled Okra Pickles
Dilled Okra Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. young okra (2 to 2 1/2 inches long), celery leaves, garlic cloves, 1 large head dill or 1/2 tsp. seed per each jar and 1 qt. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Pack scrubbed okra in pint jars (do not cut off stems).
On top of the okra, lay several fresh celery leaves, one piece of garlic, a slice of pepper and the dill (do for each jar).
Mix brine and bring to boil.
Pour over okra; seal immediately.
Let stand at least 3 weeks.
