Cook raisins and currants in 2 cups water.
Remove from heat. Cool and add applesauce, eggs, sweetener and oil.
Sift together soda, salt, spices and flour.
Add fruit mixture and mix well. Pour batter into a greased and floured tube pan and bake for 1 hour at 350Β°.
