Delores' Yellow Squash Casserole
Delores' Yellow Squash Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 medium yellow onion, 3 pounds yellow squash, 1 cup crushed saltine crackers, 1/2 cup butter, melted and 1 tsp. black pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Slice squash and onion into bite size pieces; steam until tender.
Drain.
Add crackers, egg, butter, salt, pepper and 3/4 pound shredded cheese. Place mixture into greased 9 1/2x11 inch pan.
