Deep Dish Brownies
Deep Dish Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. butter or margarine, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 3 eggs and 3/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Blend melted butter, sugar and vanilla; add eggs.
Beat well with spoon.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture.
Blend well.
Spread in greased 8-inch square pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 to 45 minutes until they begin to pull away from the edges of the pan.
Cool and cut into squares.
I double to make a 9 x 13-inch pan.
