Deep Dish Apple Pie
Deep Dish Apple Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 pastry recipe, 8 medium tart apples, 1/4 c. sugar, 3 tsp. flour and 1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Wash, pare and slice apples into a bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice.
Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and lemon rind together.
Add apples; toss.
Arrange in a 9-inch deep dish pie pan and dot with butter.
