Death by Chocolate
Death By Chocolate is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (19.8 oz.) brownie mix, 3 (3.5 oz. each) pkg. instant chocolate mousse, 8 chocolate covered toffee candy bars (1.4 oz. each, such as heath or skor) and 1 (12 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven and prepare and bake brownies according to package directions; let cool.
Prepare chocolate mousse according to package directions.
Break candy bars into small pieces.
Break brownies into small pieces and place half of them in the bottom of a large glass bowl or trifle dish.
Cover with half the mousse, half the candy and half the whipped topping.
Repeat layers with remaining ingredients, sprinkling second layer of whipped topping with crushed candy.
You may use pecans instead.
