Dan's Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
Dan'S Double Chocolate Chip Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. (8 oz.) butter, 1 3/4 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 tsp. brandy or vanilla extract and 1 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Beat in the brandy.
Melt the chocolate in dish over hot water. Stir the melted chocolate and sour cream into the creamed mixture. Sift together the flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Stir the dry ingredients gradually into the melted chocolate mixture to form a batter.
Stir in the white chocolate chips and nuts. Drop the batter by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350Β° for 10 minutes.
Makes about 5 dozen.
